Renown for the design and manufacture of industrial metal detection solutions, Fortress Technology is excited to announce the purchase of a new 50,000 square foot building in Caieiras, Laranjieras, Brazil. The third move since 2012, operations in Brazil continue to expand to meet the demand for product inspection and support in the growing Latin American market.
Gaining possession in August of 2019, the building has been completely transformed into a functional work space for the 60 employees in the Brazil office. Located just up the street from the previous building, the new facility will allow for continued innovation, growth and customer support services with the potential for further expansion in the future.
“This investment has allowed us to establish firm roots in Brazil and secure the future growth of Fortress Technology. The site will serve as the ideal platform to develop and broaden our product offering and services to new and existing customers. We are excited for what the next chapter holds for Fortress in Brazil!” says Executive Director of Brazil operations, Pierre DiGirolamo.
A demonstration zone housing the latest innovations has been built for product testing, training, and will allow customers to see customized application solutions in person.
