Dogs for Good
Meet our sponsored Yellow Labrador puppy, Dolly! She is a lovely, affectionate girl with a really cheeky streak. Once she has completed her assistance dog training at our centre in Banbury, she will go on to support someone with autism, physical disabilities, learning disabilities or dementia, empowering them to live a more independent life.
Meet Ariel, the gorgeous Labrador X Golden Retriever puppy. She is a confident girl who loves to find toys to keep in her bed. She is on her way to becoming an expertly trained assistance dog.
Dolly and Ariel are currently learning loose-lead walking, self-control around distractions and confidence with new people and situations!
The Fortress Technology Europe team collected toy donations over the holidays for the Home-Start charity located in Banbury. These generous donations helped to support families in need and provide children with a bright and happy Christmas.

Ride for Heart
Congratulations to our first Ride for Heart Corporate Team! With 35 participants, they raised almost $9,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in 2016.
More than 66,000 Canadians die each year from heart disease and stroke – that’s one every seven minutes. Fortress’s team raised funds to support researchers across Canada who are working on breakthrough treatments that save lives and improve survivor recovery.
Ride to Conquer Cancer
Fortress supported Andrew Frei, Steve Gidman, Pierre DiGirolamo, Dominic Locas, and Phil Brown in the “Ride to Conquer Cancer”.
They cycled cover 200km, from Toronto to Niagara Falls, with thousands of other riders. All proceeds went to The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre to support cancer research, treatment, and services. The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is Canada’s leading comprehensive institution devoted to cancer research and care, and the work they’re doing is leading edge.
